A little about me...

A native of Golden, Colorado, graduated from the University of Denver on a full scholarship with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Studio Arts. Had the distinction of being a Cherrington Scholar, a selective program under which I studied in Florence, Italy at SACI, Student Arts Center International.

My art uses mediums from Oils, acrylic paint to watercolor, and different paper materials. I like to explore while working with different textures and am inspired by combining an abstract style with a bit of realism. I enjoy the challenges of studying new subjects and paying close attention to detail.

I have enjoyed and put a lot of time into painting commissions and helping people make their vision come alive on canvas. Have done a variety of commissioned works from family pets, portraits, children and landscapes for the last 10 years.

As a stage 4 Neuroblastoma survivor diagnosed at age 3, I have found comfort all my life with drawing and painting while growing up with the hardships that come from radiation damage and adapting to the challenges of being a cancer survivor. Being able to project and express my feelings and imagination on canvas at such an early age, has been an outlet for me, truly a gift I have always been thankful to nurture.
